The morning session is an interactive workshop on the relationship between nutrition and recovery and healing as a cancer survivor. It will be led by Mary Beth Augustine, RD, CDN, a registered Dietitian and New York State Certified Nutritionist specializing in natural nutrition. An 18-year cancer survivor, Ms. Augustine’s specialities include cancer-fighting foods and oncology nutrition, natural pain killers and anti-inflammatory foods, smart foods for brain power, food and mood, and the role of diet and nutrition in managing gastrointestinal, autoimmune and hormonal disorders.
